Application Guide for Spring 2025 Dormitory (New and Extended Stays)

We would like to provide the following information regarding applications for new and extended dormitory stays for the Spring 2025 semester.
1. Eligibility
: New or current students of Dongguk Institute of Korean Language(DIKL) who wish to extend their stay or apply for new accommodation.
※ Applicants for dormitory admisson must complete tuition payment for the DIKL corresponding to their intended dormitory stay period. Failure to pay tuition will result in automatic exclusion from the application process.
Example: For a 6-month stay, tuition for Spring 2025 through Summer 2025 (2025.03.13. ~ 2025.09.08.) must be paid.
2. Application Schedule
: Application Submission(01.24 ~02.07) → Review → Announcement of Results(02.14) → Registration for Successful Applicants(~02.20) → Additional Results Announcement(02.21) → Additional Registration(02.25) → Submission of Move-in Documents(~02.28) → Move-in Date (03.13)

5. Application Method: Submit the application form online: https://naver.me/FHlFKMmw
6. Selection Criteria: Dormitory residents will be selected based on internal guidelines.
A. Priority will be given to new applicants.
B. New applicants for a 3-month stay may apply, but preference will be given to those applying for a 6-month stay.
7. Required Documents for New Dormitory Residents (Not required for extensions): Failure to submit these documents will result in disqualification from moving-in
A. Move-in Agreement: Please refer to the attached file.
B. Copy of Passport
C. Tuberculosis (TB) Test Result
※ X-ray images or CDs cannot be submitted.
※ The test result must be dated within 1 month (30 days) prior to the move-in date.
※ If you do not have a TB certificate, you can undergo the test at Yun Chang Ok Internal Medicine Clinic, located near the school, and receive the certificate on the same day.

D. Proof of Measles Vaccination: You must submit one of the following:
1) Measles vaccination certificate
2) Measles vaccination confirmation letter
3) Measles antibody test result
※ The measles vaccination must be completed in two doses. Based on the antibody test result, you may not be allowed to move into the dormitory.
※ The antibody test result takes approximately 2 to 5 days to process, so it is recommended to have the test before arriving in Korea.
8. Refund Policy
A. Cancellations made up to one day before the official move-in start date: Full refund.
B. Other matters are subject to the dormitory's refund policy.
※ Starting from the 2023 academic year, the deposit system has been abolished, and the facility management fee has been unified to 30,000 KRW. This amount is non-refundable. However, costs will be charged for any damage to facilities or loss of access cards.
