The following is Revised- Information Regarding Application for Extension and New Admissions to the Dormitory for the 2023 winter semester.

1. Application Target : Among the students who are currently living in the dormitory for 4 months and applied for an extension for the winter semester or new international studentd who wish to stay in the dormitory for 6 months.

2. Application Procedure : Submit an Application Form → Announcement of Accepted Dormitory Applicants → Payment of Dormitory Fees by Accepted Applicants → Submission of Related Documents Prior to Dormitory Entry → Dormitory Move-In

3. Period of residence / Dormitory fees

4. Deadline of Applications 

5. Method of Application : Submit to E-mail of Korean language Institute(klc@dongguk.edu)

※ When sending the email, make sure to specify the title as 'Application for Dormitory’

※ Students who want to extend their dormitory or newly apply for dormitory, They must have paid tuition fees including the period of residence in advance.

※ Students will primarily be assigned to Namsan Residence Hall.

If capacity of Namsan Residence Hall exceeds, students may be assigned to Chungmu Residence Hall.

8. Dormitory fee payment : Payment scheduled for 7 days from 2023.11.23.(Thursday) to 2023.11.30.(Thursday) 

9. Others

 A. Selection of the dormitory admitted applicants: internal dormitory selection rules applied in selection process

  1) prioritize the 6 month dormitory applicants in the selection process

  2) New 3 months dormitory applicants can apply using the same form as 6 month applicants but if the applicants for 6 months dormitory stay exceeds certain number, the application     

     may be restricted. Dormitory fees will be announced separately when successful applicants are notified.

B. From 2023, the deposit system is deleted and an additional 30,000won will be received for facility management. 

   The facility management fee will not be refunded. If there is any damage to the facility or loss of access card, it will be charged at the actual cost. 

C. For new applicants, dormitory assignments are determined based on internal dormitory arrangements. 

   Therefore, once the dormitory assignment is confirmed, it is not possible to change to another dormitory.

D. Submission of documents when moving in

  1) Passport (paper copy not available)

  2) Chest X-ray Results Confirmation

   * Only documents within 1 month(30 days) based on the date of moving- in must be submitted by paper.

     CD and other forms are not accepted. 

E. Refund policy

 1) Cancellation one day before the official start date: Full Refund

 2) Other cases will be evaluated based on internal dormitory arrangements.

F. dormitory related detail information will be notified separately when the result is published.
