Hello, this is Dongguk Institute of Korean Language.

Please refer to the following information on the student ID distribution for the 2023 Summer Semester.

1. Target: students who enrolled in Dongguk Institute of Korean Language.

- New issuance: One complimentary issuance. The student ID card will be distributed in class two weeks after class begins.

- Reissue(lost, etc): Information desk on the 2nd floor of the Library. The issuance fee is 5,000won.

2. Receipt of newly issued Student ID card: Can be received two weeks after the start of school

- Offline class: Individual distribution by teachers in each class

- Online Class: Visit the administration office during the receipt period

※ You must receive it yourself. When receiving it, please present an effective ID, such as a passport or alien registration card. If not, you can’t receive it.

3. Where can use it?

- Available at Library reference room, IF zone(Computer room). Unavailable in the study room, college of Law 3rd floor.

- Book rental(5 books each time, return within 15 days, can extend a loan period one time)

- Compensation regulations for books that are not returned or damaged

- You need to provide a book that is exactly the same as the borrowed book and pay 1,000won in cash(organization fee)

- When the same edition of the book cannot be provided due to an out-of-print of book, an adapted edition can be provided

- When paying late fees for lost or damaged books, cash is required. Please Inquiries at the library about the fee

4. Application deadline for Korean name & photo modification: 23rd of June(Fri)

- Modification of Korean name: Apply to your class teacher by 23rd of June(Fri).

- Modification of Photo: Check your photo with your mobile student ID. If the photo is not yours, please submit your photo to email(klc@dongguk.edu) by 23rd of June(Fri). However, students are not allowed to change to another photo of themselves. If you apply for a change to another photo of yourself, the application will be automatically rejected.

※ Application must be made within the deadline. If not applied, students should make a new student ID at the central library individually.
