Information of Dormitory Application for 2024 Autumn semester (Extension and New) is as following.
1. Application Target
: New or current students at Dongguk Institue of Korean Language who wish to extend the dormitory period or get new admission.
※ Applicants must pay Dongguk Institue of Korean Language tuition fee corresponding to the period of residence in the dormitory. If you do not pay tuition, you will be automatically excluded from application.
Example) Applicants for 3 months: Pay tuition for the fall semester of 2024 (09.19.~11.29.)
2. Application Procedure
: Submit Application Form → Announcement of Accepted Dormitory Applicants → Payment of Dormitory Fees by Accepted Applicants → Submit Related Documents Prior to Dormitory Entry → Move-In to Dormitory

5. Announcement of Admitted Applicants
2024.08.14.(Wed) 17:00 (planned) (Korean Standard Time)
※ The announcement schedule might vary slightly depending on internal circumstances.
6. Dormitory fee payment
: 2024.08.14.(Wed) ~ 2024.08.19.(Mon) until 24:00 (Korean Standard Time)
※ The payment process will be notified separately to the accepted applicants

8. Selection of the dormitory admitted applicants
: Internal dormitory selection rules
1) Priority allocation for new admissions
2) New admissions for 3-month stay are also accepted, but priority will be given to applicants applying for a 6-month stay
9. Documents required while moving in: Unable to join the company in any case if not submitted
1) Original Passport (not copies)
2) Certificate of TB (tuberculosis) Screening (printed)
※ X-RAY photos or CD format cannot be submitted.
※ Only documents within 1 month(30 days) based on the date of moving in
※ Students who do not have a TB (tuberculosis Screening) certificate can receive a diagnosis on the same day after undergoing a test at ‘Yoon Chang-ok Internal Medicine Clinic’ near the school.

3) Evidence of measles vaccination: 1) Proof of measles vaccination, 2) measles vaccination certificate, and 3) measles antibody test result, choose 1 of 3.
※ Antibody test results take about 2 to 5 days to issue, so testing before entering Korea is recommended.
10. Refund policy
1) Cancellation one day before the official move-in date: Full Refund
2) Other cases will be evaluated based on internal dormitory arrangements.
※ Starting from the 2023 school year, the deposit system that was previously applied has been abolished and the facility management fee has been changed to 30,000 won, and this amount is non-refundable. However, in case of damage to facilities or loss of access card, actual expenses will be charged.
