Scholarships for the Spring Semester, 2026

 

 

Hello,

This is the Dongguk Institute of Korean Language.

We are pleased to announce the details regarding the payment of the Merit-Based Scholarships for the Spring Semester of the 2026 Academic Year.

 

 

1. Scholarship recipients: Total 40 students(recipients will be notified Individually)

 

2. Scholarship Award Ceremony

- Date & Time: April 1st, 2026, from 13:15

- Venue: Future Convergence Seminar Room, 2nd Floor, Hyehwa Hall

 

3. Certificate

- Students attending the ceremony: Certificates will be distributed at the ceremony.

- Students not attending the ceremony: Please visit the office by the end of the semester.(Location: Hyehwa Hall, Room 501)

How to collect: Visit the office Present a valid ID Receive the certificate

Please bring an ID card (ARC, passport, or student ID).

Certificates cannot be collected by a third party.

 

4. Scholarship payment date: Scheduled for Friday, April 30

The payment date may change depending on circumstances.

 

5. Scholarship conditions

Selection Criteria: Among students enrolled in the current semester who achieved an attendance rate of 90% or higher in the previous semester and a score of 80 points or higher, the single top-performing student per level is selected.

Scholarship amount: 30% of the tuition fee

Good Academic

Scholarship

Selection Criteria: Students enrolled in the current semester who achieved an attendance rate of 90% or higher in the previous semester, and who ranked next in academic performance within each level.

- In case of ties, the student with the higher attendance rate is selected.

- The number of Excellence Scholarship recipients per level is determined as follows:

- Fewer than 50 enrolled students per level: 4 recipients. 50 or more enrolled students per level: 4 recipients, plus 1 additional recipient for every additional of 50 students.

Scholarship amount: 10% of the tuition.
