Changes in Academic Schedule for Spring Semester 2020

 

 

Institute of International Language of Dongguk university have been doing our utmost to maintain the quality of education and taking more active measures for COVID-19 such as tracking the real-time status, management according to response guideline, strengthening prevention, etc.

 

To reduce the lost class time because of late arrival or self-quarantine, The schedule for Spring 2020 will be delayed one week. We sincerely ask you to understand the delay to protect students and notice is given hereby that changes in the academic calendar are announced as follows:

 

 

1. Changes in Academic Schedule for Spring 2020(1week delayed)

2. Additional classes for Late arrival or Self-quarantined students

A. Students can apply for the additional classes if could not take on 30th, March because of late arrival or self-quarantine. Additional classes will be provided only for the student already signed up.

3. Note

A. Total class hours is 200 hours(No changes)

B. All classes(Level 1~Level 6) start at 10:10

C. Excused Absence(유고결석) is not allowed

 

4. 3 things Chinese students must do

A. Install “Self-diagnosis application” on arrival and do self-diagnosis regarding fever and respiratory symptoms once a day for 14 days after arriving.

B. Self-quarantine is required for 14 days after arriving.

C. If you are required to isolate yourself for 14 days, please fill in <Self-quarantine confirmation letter> and submit to office.

5. Infection prevention in school

A. Designate the entrance gates and check temperature when entering buildings.

B. Disinfect lecture building(Hyehwa hall) twice a week

C. Hand sanitizers for every classroom

D. Daily health check

E. Wear masks during classroom

F. Provide alcohol sprays for every student, etc.
